Four months

It is amazing how fast these first four months have went by. It has gotten so much easier and more fun as Bo gets older. We really enjoy seeing all his firsts and getting to watch him grow. He is such a happy boy and so fun to be with. He is so well behaved and just goes with the flow.

This month Bo....

• survived four days with out power. It was not fun but he did great!
• went to his first Detroit Lions game. They lost :(
• got his four month shots
• eats every 2.5 hours
• naps 3 times a day for about 45 minutes each
• still sleeps 5 hours-3 hours-2 hours (sometimes)
• goes to bed between 8 and 9
• loves bathtime
• seems to get bored easily
• puts everything in his mouth
• discovered his tongue
• loves to laugh
• loves to be naked and get his clothes changed
• almost always happy and adapts easily
• doesn't like taking a bottle
• wears 0-3 and 3-6 month tops
• wears 0-3 month pants
• wears size 2 diapers-we love Pampers Swaddlers
• blows raspberries and slobbers everywhere
• weighs 13 lbs 10 oz

Seventeen Weeks

This week Bo...

• is finishing the last box of size one diapers. Hooray!!
• wears 0-3 month clothes and some 3-6 month tops
• is starting to really enjoy playtime with Daddy
• makes lots of noises
• squeals and kicks when he is excited
• lets you know when he doesn't like something
• loves to try to sit and stand
• drools all the time
• doesn't like tummy time
• can roll from his tummy to his back but doesn't like doing it
• experienced his first storm that knocked out our power
• loves going places
• doesn't like to be in his carseat if it isn't moving
• naps in his swing
• smiles at anyone who talks to him
• still sleeps 5 hours-3 hours-2 hours at night
• doesn't like to be left in a room alone
• loves to watch whatever we are doing

16 weeks old

This week Bo .....

• wears 0-3 month clothes
• wears size 1 diapers
• is moving all the time-he does not sit still
• loves to stand on our laps
• gets really excited when we start talking to him
• is ticklish on his tummy
• still loves bath time
• still loves getting his diaper and clothes changed
• loves to chew on his burp rags
• smiles, laughs, and makes lots of noises
• likes his play mat
• rolls over from his tummy to his back
• can scoot forward when on his tummy
• can turn all the way around when lying on his back
• will let you know when he is not happy or wants attention
• went to Chick-fil-A again
• stayed home alone with Daddy for a few hours-they did GREAT together
• likes to nap in his swing
• naps for about 45 minutes at a time
• slept for 7 hours straight twice this week-it was AWESOME

Fifteen Weeks

This week Bo ....

• wears 0-3 month clothes
• wears size 1 diapers
• Grandma (King) came to visit
• visited Amish Acres
• can roll over from tummy to back
• doesn't like tummy time
• likes bath time
• likes to stand, balance, and bounce on our laps
• likes to suck on his fingers
• tries to put his toys in his mouth
• likes his playmat-he can hit the objects with his hands and kick them with his feet
• likes to nap in his swing
• likes to make noises and talk
• laughs and smiles
• follows us around the room with his eyes
• eats every 2.5 hours
• sleeps from 8:30-9 to 2 am, eats, sleeps from 2:30 to 5:30 am, eats, sleeps 6:30 to 8 am
• likes to be tickled

Fourteen Weeks

This week Bo......

• wears size 1 diapers
• wears 0-3 month clothes
• loves to laugh
• is ticklish on the inside of his knees and tummy
• likes his bath
• likes to get his diaper changed
• likes to be naked
• kicks at everything he can reach
• likes to bounce up and down
• sleeps one 5 hour stretch, one 3-4 hour stretch, and one 2 hour stretch at night
• likes to nap in his swing for 30-45 min at a time
• loves chewing on his burp rags
• has started to put other things in his mouth besides his fingers and burp rags
• dressed up as a pumpkin for the Youth Council Halloween Party
• is very alert all the time
• likes to make noise
• mimics sounds and facial expressions
• doesn't like tummy time
• likes to sit in his bumbo seat
• doesn't like to stay in one place for long
• loves to go places

Three Months

It is amazing how fast time goes. It has been a crazy three months. Bo is such a wonderful baby and it is so fun to see him grow and develop every day.

• wears size 0-3 month clothes
• wears size 1 diapers
• likes baths
• likes sitting up with help or in his bumbo seat
• makes lots of funny and cute faces
• makes lots of noises, sounds, and squeals
• loves sucking on his fingers and thumbs
• has to wear pajamas with hand covers because he scratches himself when he is asleep
• likes to laugh and will laugh when you laugh at him
• loves getting his diaper changed
• weighs 11lbs 10 oz
• is ticklish
• sleeps one 5 hour, one 3 hour, and one 2 hour stretch at night
• takes 2 or 3 45 minute naps during the day
• Aunt Hannah King came to stay for the week while Daddy was out of town
• walked a 5k in the rain to support Domestic Violence

Twelve Weeks Old

• wears size 1 diapers
• weighs 11 lbs 2 oz
• doesn't like tummy time
• smiles and laughs
• chews on his fingers
• is good at tracking objects and people
• recognizes Mommy and Daddy
• likes his diaper and clothes changed
• "talks" all the time
• loves stroller and car rides
• sleeps a 5 hour stretch and a 3 hour stretch at night
• takes 30 to 45 minute naps
• goes to bed between 8 and 9
• doesn't like to be left alone
