Full Term

We made it to 37 weeks. Bo can now come any time he wants. We are closer to being ready. Dean has been gone this week at a conference so I have been living alone. Everyone was so worried about me going into labor but I made it. Bo knew he wasn't allowed to come when his daddy was not home. I only did the mimimum things that needed to be done. I am sure I would have done more but we had a bit of an issue. We had a big storm Monday night and lost power at 7 am Tuesday morning. We didn't get power back until some time Thursday afternoon. I had to go buy ice for the freezer and pack all our fridge stuff into coolers. To make it worse we ran out of water Wednesday night. We have a well but the pump is electric so once the tank went dry, there was no more. I was able to use bottled water to wash my hands and brush my teeth but couldn't do much else. I also had to eat cold pizza. I do not like cold pizza but I made due. There weren't really any other choices. It would have been better if Dean was here but I survived. I don't like being alone but I didn't a pretty good job on my own.

Our work had a baby shower for us this week. Dean, of course, missed it since he was out of town but it was very nice. Lots of healty food, which Dean would have loved. It was a very nice shower and we got very nice gifts. All things we didn't already have and things that will come in very handy after Bo arrives. Now to just get them organized and put away. I also went to our last baby class. We practiced diapering, swaddling, and breathing techniques. It was a pretty good class. Our doctor says Bo probably isn't coming until 39 or 40 weeks so we have a couple weeks to go. That's fine since it will give us a chance to get things finished and ready. Bo is still moving a ton and always seems to be pushing and flopping around. We can definitely feel his feet pushing out on my belly. If Dean rubs his finger on my stomach Bo usually moves over to that area. Its fun watching Dean get so excited about him.
